    Mother Death (2011) was an exercise in nightmarish discovery. As the band's sound began to organically form, the final result of the recording sessions yielded an atmospheric debut opus with a very raw symphonic voice and bold musical statements. These seeds would grow further yet, to push Scytherium's sound to new and forsaken places and secure Scytherium's ability to self produce and create material.

Carnage and terror
In the gloom
A woman in a pale dress
Blood stained and dead

She is the countess

She is the demon
That haunts these halls eternally
Skeleton hands
Shrieks of horror
Coming for me
The Countess, of the pale veil
Crippled by the gloom
Her corpse stands over me
Neither dead nor living
In these corridors she hunts
Lost and helpless souls
Feed her fathomless hunger
The countess laughs at me
Staring with her empty eyes

In a sea of pain, I watch the chains disappear
The spirit is near, it's flying

My end is near
Her cold hands touch my face
She wails in pain and pleasure
Peeling the flesh from my body

I cannot escape the spirit's grasp, I turn to ash
The pleasure of the night, I collapse in fright
